Justin Sumner is a trial attorney involved in a wide range of general civil and complex commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts around the country.
From representing large Fortune 500 companies to 'Mom and Pop shops,' Justin’s role since joining the firm in 2006 has consisted of first and second chairing jury trials, arbitration, bench trials, motion practice, settlement negotiations, discovery planning, and he has taken and defended hundreds of depositions throughout the country.
Areas of practice include Civil Commercial Litigation, ‘Whistleblower’ False Claims Act Litigation, Qui Tam litigation, Labor and Employment, Defense of and Plaintiff Representation in the areas of Fraud, Consumer Protection, Deceptive Trade Practice Act (DTPA), Products Liability, Catastrophic Personal Injury, Civil Rights, and Medical Malpractice.
In Justin’s off-time, he enjoys coaching and watching his three kids play sports. Justin is a former athlete who played football for the University of Arkansas. He is also an avid surfer, and enjoys traveling to surfing locations around the world. He also enjoys scuba diving, deep sea fishing, and snow skiing in the winter.
